Haven’t used it for a while and all of a sudden I’m not getting sound running it as an AU in GarageBand. Works fine in standalone. Device is iPhone 13 Pro Max . Screencap is here https://youtu.be/WgLrj2cVhU0?si=h5uGCvkUlRir2HmR

Fix included in the Mela 5.6 update.

Build 299
- It looks like the workaround for GarageBand for iOS compatibility issue causes AUM to crash.
- Therefore, I will be reverting to the pre-5.5 code where the instrument plug-in didn't support side-chain input.
- I will revisit side-chain support for the instrument plug-in in the future, once I figure out what's going wrong with GarageBand for iOS or if Apple ends up fixing it on their end.
- In the meantime, you can still use a side-chain with synth presets, you'll need to load Mela as an effect. e.g. in Logic Pro, you load it from the MIDI-controlled Effects menu.

Update
: I realise the text above is a bit confusing, but it means the build 299 should work as expected in GarageBand for iOS).Nikolozi

Hey Billy Castillo, thanks for the report. Someone else also reported this issue and it's fixed in 5.6 beta build 279. Try it out and let me know if the beta works.
Some details:
- After adding instrument side-chain support in 5.5, somehow it broke compatibility with GarageBand for iOS.
- I believe it's a bug in GB for iOS, as it works fine in Logic for Mac/iPad and GB for Mac.
- I added a workaround for GarageBand, so should be all good in v 5.6.

Nikolozi thank you..appreciate it !
I don’t see an update available yet on the App Store however

Billy Castillo The update on the App Store will be sometime next week (hopefully), but you can download the beta version via TestFlight. You should be able to access the beta by navigating to Mela's Settings and scrolling to the bottom.
