Mela users often look for the MIDI learn functionality to map preset parameters to their controllers. Currently, I recommend they use AUM as a host on iOS, as Mela exposes all of its parameters to hosts. They can also use MIDI Source to modulate parameters with MIDI CC. But that requires a lot of configuring and have to do it for each preset.
MIDI Learn Module:
  • Such a module could allow users to drag and drop parameters on it to quickly map incoming MIDI to preset parameters.
  • The module can be configured so that it maps CCs to the 8 Perform View parameters.
  • Once pinned lanes become a thing (where when you change presets pinned lanes don't get removed), the MIDI Learn module can be inserted on such a lane to make life easier.
  • Combining the last 2 features, will allow the user to quickly audition presets while maintaining Perform View mapping to their controller.
